The issue with fruits and vegetables is actually caused by the culture. They throw away over 75% of fruits and vegetables before they get to the stands because the slightest imperfections mean they won't sell. And they even dye certain fruit because if its not bright enough red or green, no one will buy it. American is quickly becoming that way also.

Not true. My daughter was stationed in Japan but due to her higher rank she rented a private residence and lived/ate independently from her Air Force life. She shopped, cooked, and traveled from the very northern part of Japan to locations in the south on her free days. This video is not accurate.

I’d like to add that the locks for bicycles in Japan are more like a gesture saying: “please don’t steal it :)” than any lock I’ve seen here in Germany :D In Kyoto my bike got “locked”by some old ladies and they told me it’s safe now and nobody will steal it. They put a bungee cord around it :D
