When I was In Japan a couple months ago, I remember one night where I was really drunk but needed to smoke. I sat on a wall and sparked a cigarette. A couple walked by and gave me a nasty face and was waving their hand in their face like it was a bad smell, kinda like putting me down. As I said I’m sorry, a Japanese dude walks up to me and says “don’t put it out, keep smoking. Fuck them.” And proceeded to smoke one with me and talk with me. Then he proceeded to take me to a cool dive bar where I even got more fucked up.
